While checking out the Store Supervisor “T” (I understand often times when you use someone’s name Google will remove your review so we will just refer to him as T) he asked me for my number. I was not interested in supplying that as I generally do not he asked again, and I simply said with a smile, I do not wish to give my number, then he said he was going to look up to see if I had a rewards. I said I did not. He asked if I would like to sign up I said no thank you he proceeded to say are you sure you could save $10 today and I said positive again with a smile and he kind of smirked at me with a sarcastic OK then. After he checked me out, he left everything on the counter and then looked at me and with a straight face asked if I would like a bag. I purchased seven items of course I would like a bag, he sort of, rolled his eyes at me, and that was the end of our discourse. He placed all of my items in my bag. I smiled and said thank you and left.

They have changed a simple process to now completely waste customers time and confuse you. I emailed my documents to their password like email address, but they informed me that I must come in to confirm my order. Why should I need to confirm my $2 print order? I waited 5 minutes for the person working to find my email, then she gave me a clipboard with a large stack of forms asking for my personal info, no idea why I needed to write that out and why they wanted to waste so many color copies to accomplish nothing. Then I was told to walk across the store to pay. Only once I paid my $2 and came back did she start to print my copies. It took 20mins in total. This could have been way easier. I will buy a printer to avoid this experience in the future.

I've been in customer service for over 15 years and have to say that I was impressed with and had the pleasure of having Seth in the print department help me start to finish with a photocopy project involving a very sentimental and treasured family booklet from the 80's. Seth was warm and friendly yet supremely knowledgeable and detailed-oriented with the intricacies of 2-sided 11x17 copies in black and white and color. He went out of his way to suggest options and techniques that yielded a very usable and archival booklet/document for future reference. I wish all retail stores would have a Seth. Please give him a raise!

The 2 brunette female store associates in the Print Center on Thursday, 03/21/2024 at 5:30 PM CST exhibited poor customer service. I approached the print center counter to find the email address to send my print to and sent it which took me about 90 seconds; the 2 sales associates were chatting about an upcoming project or something while I did this (not working on print jobs) and there were no other customers waiting in the print center area. After standing at the counter for another minute or so while they continued their conversation one of them addressed me. I explained that I just emailed over a file that I needed help formatting to print. She looked at the attachment I sent and said she couldn’t help me because they had to work on their online queue and that I could submit it online to be printed the next day or use their self service center. I explained that in the past I submitted a print job online and the front and back were not aligned so I needed their help formatting my document. I said that Office Depot employees had helped me do this on their computer program in-store in the past [see my 5 star reviews for the 5300 S MoPac Expy and 816 Tirado St locations]. The other sales associates’ response was, “They must not have had very many jobs in their queue.” or something to that effect, dismissing my concern and therefore dismissing me as a customer so I left the store.

Unfortunately, this location is the most convenient for me and since I’d be in the area again the next day I ended up going home and doing over an hour of research to ensure my print job submitted online would be printed correctly. It is so disappointing that the formatting that took me over an hour would have taken them less than 5 minutes but they didn’t feel like helping the customer standing in front of them. The Office Depot website guaranteed that my prints would be ready by 6:00 PM the next day and I’d be emailed when they were ready.

At 3:42 PM the next day, Friday, 03/22/2024, I hadn’t received an email yet so I called the store to check what time my prints would be ready so I could plan my afternoon around picking them up. The associate (who sounded like one of the women from the day before) was having a conversation with someone else in the background while I was on the phone. She said it wasn’t ready and to call back at 6:00 PM if I hadn’t received an email…

I hadn’t received an email by 5:30 PM so I went ahead and stopped in the store at about that time. I didn’t mind hanging out for 30 minutes since they would be ready by 6:00 PM so I took a seat on the couch in front of the print center. No one else was in the printing area when I arrived and the sales associates were working in the back. A sales associate, Julian, came around to the front and asked if I had been helped and how he could help me. I let him know I was there to pick up a print job but I hadn’t received an email yet. He asked for my name and a description of the job. He confirmed that it hadn’t been printed yet so he printed and cut my prints which took about 10-15 minutes. They turned out great! Thank you, Julian!

I also want to mention that on Friday there weren’t any customers in the print center when I arrived but while I waited, about a half a dozen other customers came in and a petite blond sales associate at the print center was very kind and patient in helping each one (including helping someone with their...

It's not every day you walk into a store and get great service and friendly people, but that happened to me yesterday during my visit to the Anderson Lane location. It’s comforting to know people look forward to helping you and actually care, especially since this location is most convenient for me. I’ve printed with this location for 10+ years. I’d met Julian on my previous visit when he was so kind and friendly, so I was delighted to find him working. I saw him and asked to speak to him. He saw me, waved, and gave me a big smile. He'd even remembered my name. Then, Julian introduced me to his two equally fun co-workers, and all were so helpful. Simultaneously, they were assisting three other customers, but they seamlessly picked up where the other one left off, while I shopped and waited a few minutes for my prints. Customer Service isn’t for everyone, but these three did exactly what I’d hoped for, real customer service. They listened, they cared, and were expeditious in getting me quality prints and excellent service. Please don’t close this location! Thank you to, Julian, Chloe, and Ashton, you literally made...
