I’ve been going to ToddPilates 4–5 times a week and just completed my 100th class! I’m so incredibly happy I found this place.
When I started I wanted to strengthen my core and add some movement that felt more intentional. What I didn’t expect was how much this studio would help my mental health too. I finally get what people mean when they talk about the mind-body connection. These classes help quiet the anxious voice in my head and I carry that calmness with me long after class ends.
I love that the studio is so inclusive, people of all sizes, ages, and fitness levels show up and feel welcome. There’s no pressure to perform, just encouragement to move and feel good in your body.
Todd’s Pilates classes: He puts so much care into the routines and even curates the music, which gives the class such a great rhythm and flow. He offers modifications throughout, making the class accessible and challenging in all the right ways.
Brittney’s classes: They are my absolute favorite. She’s calm, clear, and her music is always on point. Her barre classes especially get my heart rate up with tiny movements (and lots of squats!) while still feeling approachable. I’ve taken breaks and modified moves when needed and have never once felt out of place. The environment she creates is so supportive, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her classes and the people in them.
The culture here is really special. You’re met exactly where you are that day. Some days I feel strong, others I just feel proud for showing up, and both are celebrated. Instructors offer modifications to make things easier or harder depending on how you’re feeling.
A few tips: Arrive 15-10 minutes early for parking since the lot fills up for popular classes, but you can usually find free street parking nearby. The classes are non-heated, and all the props are provided. In my opinion I would call this is a contemporary mat Pilates studio that incorporates light weights, which adds a nice bit of variety.
If it’s your first time, don’t worry, it’s easy to follow, and you’ll quickly get used to the flow. Soreness at the beginning is real (your abs will feel it!) but it fades as your body adapts. And just when you think you’ve got the hang of the routine, the instructors switch it up again to keep it fresh.
Also, this place is affordable, something I really appreciate in a wellness space.
Bottom line: ToddPilates has helped me feel stronger, calmer, and more connected to my body. If you’re thinking about...
Read moreI am an older woman with neck and knee arthritis and an extra 35 pounds around me who had not worked out in 5 years. I finally went NINJA on myself, found out about ToddPilates and signed up for a 30 day pilates plan. It was very important to me to be able to try as many classes, per day or week with whomever I wanted, as a start. I ended up with Todd himself and did a 45 minute Matt Pilates session at my own pace and in tune with my own abilities. I must say, as challenging as it was/is, it felt amazing! Todd is energetic, fun, and was very good at explaining how to do the moves to minimize injury. Yes, It was very challenging for me to do all the moves as fast as some of the veterans there-...and I didn't(I wasn't the only one either). But I had to start somewhere, and Todd Pilates was/is the perfect place! It was so refreshing to finally do it. The place is very clean, the music is great, the staff is professional and nice, The coach is fantastic and there are a lot of different tools to work out with especially if you know what your physical challenges and limitations are. DO give it a try! It is so worth it. I loved it and I am...

I just finished my first of many classes and I only had to take one to know that the impeccability with which Todd guided us, is woven through every other class.
I've been to many pilates classes where they blast your senses with loud music, over stimulating the body. A part of me was afraid I'd experience that today, forcing my body through an aggressive and loud work out. But no.
Todd used the music to help guide people's bodies, creating a movement, a rhythm, a dance, where it felt like the body was getting to express and move itself naturally. He does this by intentionally creating a set list, to guide you through the journey of your body, and coordinating movements and instructions with the rhythm of each song.
There is disco, there is Britney, there is 90s J Lo, there is fast techno. And each of those songs carries you from one movement to the next, CARRYING you, not forcing or berating you.
It is truly an act of love, both to facilitate these classes and to be the one taking them.
This is the only place you will ever need to go to...
