The facility is tiny but unique. You order through a walk up window and they have a few menus outside so you can check out what they have before you order. There is a few seats under cover and then there is an area with picnic tables on a gravel lawn to sit and relax. The facility is on an odd street corner but is prime real estate for people watching and catching up with friends. Parking can post a problem but keep trying and you can find a spot. The juice I got was a seven veggie and I liked it. It's not sweet at all so it may not be for everyone. The overall experience was good. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait but for a quality drink it's fine. I will be back. The picture for menu items and pricing was taken May of 2019.

Very cute, kinda like a permanent food truck. It has a nice little garden courtyard, a ping pong table, and picnic tables with misting fans too. The juice shots I got were very good (wheatgrass and royal flush) but I definitely want to go back and try the rest of the menu. Besides fresh juice, they also carry soup, smoothies, chia pudding, salads, and pastries. Some of the baked goods were vegan and gluten free but I couldn’t try any with my allergies—too bad because they looked and smelled AMAZING. Definitely a repeat 💖

This restaurant was super cute and simple! I got the pesto grilled cheese and mango smoothie. They market their ingredients as high quality and that’s exactly what I got! The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and the cheese and pesto were so good. I would have liked just a little more pesto on the sandwich, but it wasn’t a big issue at all. The mango smoothie was to die for, all whole ingredients and so delicious. The service was great as well, the cashier who helped me was very kind and attentive.

I am one of the original 11 Soupies who lived near the owner back in 2010 on Riverview St. The soup peddler himself would deliver the best soups I have ever had, directly to my door step in a cooler I would leave out for him, with an envelope of cash. I moved away from a decade and then moved back home in 2022. When I saw the first brick and mortar location, I literally cried tears of joy, HE MADE IT I thought. I have been posting about this business every week since, I have reached out to them a dozen times trying to get in touch with the marketing department to make some video content about the soup peddler and what it means to me - so, if anyone at Soup Peddler that works with the owner sees this, please have them reach out. I make video content for small businesses as a local Realtor and would love to feature Soup Peddler on my channels, no cost. I am your biggest fan. This is my favorite soup in the world! I am also known to buy 6-10 bags at a time for my 86 year old dad so he has homecooked meals, he freezes them and it's also HIS favorite meal. I could write a book on how much I love this business!

Soup Peddler is so much more than soup. Although all the soups we enjoyed were top notch, quality ingredients and tasty. And I think they had at least 6 varieties when we were there. We enjoyed and were taken off-guard by the elevated lunchtime picnic we had at this place. I am not going to lie, parking was terrible, it is just a kiosk stuffed into the corner between two busy streets, but worth the trouble. Don't let that fool you. This is dining and we are foodies! It was probably the best lunch we had while visiting Austin. The grilled cheese was so gooey and crispy. The gazpacho was fresh and creamy. Vegans will love this place. There are some meat options, but honestly I loved the food and I am not vegetarian. My peach smoothie was tart and not overly sweet. Everything tasted fresh. The picnic-style outdoor seating in a small garden was quaint. Don't miss this place - worth the drive! If you have ambulatory issues there is a path around to the side. You can avoid the stairs. Such a gem. Really needed at least two extra stars over the 5 stars I gave them. No cash accepted - only...

I absolutely love the soup peddler. I have been eating and drinking their delicious soups and smoothies for years. I try to bring as many of my friend's and visitors as possible when they are in town. There are so many vegetarian options that are fabulous. I love their daily specials and I have gotten the tomato soup and grilled cheese special combo on Wednesday many times. They recently had a vegetarian chilli that was so delicious that I have been trying to make my own without comparison. Try the Green Apple and Muenster sandwich to give your taste buds a treat and you will be shocked at how amazing the combo of tart apple mixed with muenster cheese tastes. My mouth is watering even as I make this review. All the smoothies are bomb too! Just tell them what you are craving and they will suggest something awesome to fill your needs off their detail oriented...
