This is the most amazing jewelers and I would recommend them to anyone and will continue to use them myself even though we will now be living about 3 hours outside of the city! The drive is worth it! My story; I received the treasure of my heart recently in inheriting my grandmother’s wedding ring. The ring is a treasure because she was a treasure and her ring holds many dear memories for me. The ring is 70 plus years old and when my mother gave it to me it was in dire need of repair. Missing two diamonds, prongs worn and just really dull and tired. I also needed it resized to fit me. I searched long and hard for a trusted jeweler via online reviews. I narrowed it down to two jewelers that had fantastic reviews. I literally read hundreds! I wasn’t going to entrust my grandmother’s ring to just anyone. I took my ring to the first shop and was somewhat discouraged because they said resizing the ring would be difficult. So, I then made my way to Caleesi! The team were very professional and yet also very personable. The first team member who greeted us and heard my story, looked at my hand and correctly guessed the size I needed! I was impressed. Then Stephan came out and saw my ring, I told him the story and he was positive about all of my needs, explained what he would do. He seemed just as enthusiastic and excited about getting started on the project for me as I was! He quoted a very reasonable price and pleasantly shocked me by saying it would be ready in the next week! The whole experience that day was positive in meeting the team and entrusting my precious ring. I also loved meeting Chili!!! When I returned for my ring the following week my heart was racing. Stephan came out and presented the ring in a very proud way (he takes great pride in his work). My heart stopped!!! So did my tongue!!! I literally couldn’t speak!!! The ring looked stunning!!! Stephan explained that he decided to repair all of the prongs because he felt it was necessary (he didn’t charge extra). I knew what he really meant was that he likes to do it right and he loves what he does! I felt like he genuinely loved working on my grandmother’s ring and he loved seeing the delight it brought in presenting it to me! He even made a video of my ring so that I could share it with my mom! Stephan and Cathy are quality!!! If you have jewelry needs I would recommend this family owned business and couple 100 percent! My fiancé went to another local jeweler of which we were unhappy with. They didn’t listen to him on CAD corrections nor even make it in the correct size. His receipt even had 5 3/4 printed on it, yet they casted it in a size 7. After the proposal, I got to meet with that jeweler and requested we please find another jeweler.

It was the exceptional reviews of Caleesi that brought us here. It was their superb customer service and attention to detail that kept us here. We not only designed my wedding band and engagement ring, but also my fiancé’s wedding band. (I’m not posting the review of his ring yet bc we are yet to be wed and he wants it to be a surprise. Let’s just say they did a fabulous job there too! It was important to us to have all of our rings cast at the same time from the same pour of 18K gold. It is extremely sentimental to us and they delivered!)

As for my rings, we began with a vision of a ring I saw from a NY jeweler. I had also desired to add some “hippie crystals” in hidden places. Steve and his team fully embraced my vision and worked with me every step of the way. We ended up with two options for my engagement ring. Steve so kindly wax printed BOTH to help me decide on which would be my forever ring. It was really a cool experience to get to design, view CAD drawings, see 3D imaging, and play with wax printings of our designs. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole process from beginning to end. Not only are the team at Caleesi stand up humans, their craftsmanship and artful eye are the best in Austin and beyond! I highly, WE highly, recommend them.

Thank you Steve, Rayla, and Team Caleesi! You each made this experience so joyful for us. I will forever remember the moment when Steve sat down with us to show us the final product. As soon as my fiancé, went to put the engagement ring on my finger…I lost it! So many appreciative happy tears. Not gonna lie, I may have seen some tears filling up Steve’s eyes as well. Actually all three of us…mine just were most visible. Haha So much that the jeweler mascot, Chili, came over to my rescue to comfort me. I had to explain to her they were happy tears, pure joy! If you want to get treated like a peasant, come here. Be sure to dress up before you arrive or be prepared to have the staff look down their noses at you. My partner and I came here for a simple ring resizing since they were down the road from us but we obviously made a mistake thinking they would be down to earth. Upon entering we got dirty looks and stares like we were in pajamas or wearing offensive T shirts. The woman who helped us treated us like we were idiots. We came there for a service that we cannot do ourselves OBVIOUSLY. When you go to get your hair cut, stylists don’t treat you like trash because you don’t know how to cut hair. That’s absurd! It could have been that our rings were sterling silver and not white gold but that’s still elitist to treat us as lesser than. Anyways, she gave us the price of $90/each to go up not even a full size and though we were fully prepared to pay for it (the rings have a lot of sentimental value) we decided to take our business elsewhere for obvious reasons. My partner confirmed that even the older employee had a disgusted look on her face while staring at me the entire time we were there. We agreed that Jared would probably be our best option since they cater to all kinds of people. Not only were we right but upon explaining our last interaction at Caleesi, they felt so bad for us they hooked us up with a MAJOR deal! Ended up only charging us $25/ring to resize them. They also made us a priority and had them ready the next day even though they were backed up for ring resizing from Valentine’s Day. They were EXTREMELY personable and we had a good laugh with them about how treatment of others says a lot about a person. I myself have had a lot of health issues and due to complications my hair has been falling out in chunks. It’s embarrassing so I wore a beanie to cover it up. I am lucky to have a partner who is with me for the long haul and will stay by my side through thick and thin. Caleesi seems classist and very shallow. Y’all might not see me as a high value customer but I know my worth. Treat people better. It’s a...
