World Food & Halal Market — Attraction in Austin

Today i came to buy some meat and i was surprised at the prices $ 6.49 for Lamb or goat per LB, not see in other shops in this city . This is the better deal you can't find anywhere else in Austin. The best Halal meat that I buy during last 8 years, is great. Meat always fresh ,clean and tender. I tried many Halal sores in Austin but, I never find like this Market, less price than others and the meat quality is great plus groceries are best. Products at least not expired compare to other markets. All workers nice & friendly. If you look for best quality meat this is the best place to go. I disagree with review that saying front registered not smile,( I went to other store one day and the registered was friendly, then after I found something wrong with product I asked to return it after I walked out of the store in about15 minutes, the registered became so upset and unhelpful and he refused to return the product). so what smile can do for you, if the registered lack of integrity and honesty. First- the Uncle who is at the register is really, really nice. Very respectful, especially to me and my mom. His store keeps a lot of Bengali brands, which is nice. The halal meat market is AWFUL. Uncle said the Market rents the space, they’re not related.

The meat market gave us 1 box of expired or old chicken. It smelled pretty bad at the store but I was confused. By the time I went home (only 30 minutes) it smelled worse.

I called and told the front store uncle, he didn’t give trouble. He said he’d give a new box.

The Meat Market gave us so much trouble. They were angry and not willing to replace it. They smelled it and said “it’s fine” and tried to give me more meat from the same supply.
