Botanero Sports Bar — Restaurant in Austin

In order of feedback categories…stale chips, unseasoned fajita meat (I’m a white girl and mine put theirs to shame)…didn’t bother to ask if everything was okay and I had to request a refill even my cup was empty (tables around me spoke Spanish and waitress chatted them up…what does that tell someone????)… also when you got somebody playing music on an acoustic guitar in the middle of your restaurant and your customer is sitting there covering their ears. It is so loud maybe ask them to step over to another area.

There’s a reason why there was a 50 Cent tip left and that I will never be returning !!!!

I have worked in the service just about my entire adult life and I can count the amount of times on one hand that I have literally made it clearly obvious that the service sucked by leaving that low...

First time trying this busy restaurant last night because my favorites were closed and I’m always up to treat myself to margaritas and Mexican food. No frozen LIME margaritas!? I noticed lemon on the menu, and asked if they had lime and said they did, but brought me back lemon margaritas. I’m not upset in the lack of communication, the drinks were strong but not worth $8 for a “large” (not that large). Which brings me to the reviews that say how cheap it is, when it’s not, comparable to other Mexican restaurants in Austin. I would have been fine with the price if the food was good but mediocre at best. The pastor was super dry, and they’re very skimpy on chips. Music was poppy and awful. I have gone to the location in William Cannon and south first , BOMB AS FOOD , so I thought this place will be the same , NOPE jokes on me I ordered a torta and a gordita they only had the meet , lettuce and cheese like are you being fr ? Then I order some chicken fajita tacos they didn’t put the lettuce or dice tomatoes like they originally come with , it seem like the meet was from yesterday 33$ dollar to the trash didn’t eat food at all didn’t wanna get food poisoning and it was a to go order , cheap compared to the other location would pay around 45$ to 50$ for the same items but food looked fresh DONT BUY AT THIS LOCATION! .., oh & costumer service is trash she saw me come up turn around and talked to...
