I usually go here after I get my haircut, this time I'm sat at my table, waited 10 minutes for someone to notice me, finally get my drink, server disappeared, looked around because my iced tea had no ice in it, plus no chips and salsa, after 5 more minutes, I get up and go over to the cashier sand and ask for a cup of ice and the hips and salsa, and low and behold my server was there chatting away.
I ordered a chili rellano(sp) and a queso. I get the queso 5 minutes later, and it tasted like watered down Velveeta with diced tomatoes, almost as bad as El Rincon. So I put some hot sauce on it, to give it some flavor, then I notice the cook microwave something in a plastic wrapper, then place on a plate and dump cold red sauce on it, with cheese, then microwave it again, it turned out it was my rellano. I pushed it aside and got the manager and asked why is my food pre-made and microwaved, he told me they were just reheating it. You don't put cold sauce on hot food then microwave it. I poked at it and it bounced back like a rubber ball.
It's not that hard to make a rellano, that was shameful for a restaurant.
The manager said that was normal for restaurants, after 32 years running kitchens that is the biggest load of manure I have ever heard.

Read moreHave been here twice. So you know, this is a sports-live music spot. This means it will most likely be loud and plenty of TVs. I was unable to have a conversation when i was there one night with live music, we had to move behind walls in order to be able to hear each other I had the chilaquiles with steak, and while the chilaquiles were pretty good, the steak was not that great. Also tried out the margarita flight, and it was quite delicious and worth it. i did also ask for a michelada, but maybe it being the Sunday brunch, the request was forgotten by my bartender, although he remembered later, it was too late for me to drink it-finish, oh well. The service is good, but could improve a little. Otherwise good food, good drinks, if you are watching sports, this...

It sounds exaggerated, but it happened to us twice. For example, one of my comrades asked for a simple quesadilla that cost $4.99 on the menu and ended up paying 16 dollars, and only asked for water. It was not clear whether the surplus was tax or what, but we did not claim because it was not much, although it would be good if they were clearer with the...
