Gladstone Park — Attraction in Azusa

a lot of homeless people and drunks hanging around I will not be returning to this park again this was my third visit where I seen the same thing, the first time I seen this it was a Monday I assume it was just a bad time to visit the second time I visited the park it was a Saturday so I assumed it was like this just because it was the weekend. Well this last time I visited the park it was a wednesday and that is when I realized this type of behavior and environment that is common for this park, terrible experience drunk guys everywhere and dudes doing drugs in the bathroom. These are not the type of things I want to expose my son to when asked to play at the park I think I will go out of the way and head to valley Dale Park instead even though this park is closer...

A great place to bring your family for all the different activities. Baseball, basketball, volleyball, handball, play ground for kids, batting cages for teams, walking paths for all ages and dogs on leashes. Picnic tables and grill areas available for events can be leased from the city, prices all reasonable. Police patrol regularly, providing a safe environment. There are always a few people who don't follow the posted rules about littering, mandatory dog leach,pick up after their dog, Drinking of alcohol in public. But over all it a great...

I have brought my kids here to play only because it is walking distance, however both times I left in a hurry. Just a messy, place, from things left behind by roaming homeless. Some even gather at the benches. I did not allow my children to run near the benches as I observed their ketchup smeared seats and loud schitzo ramble. There is a good cleanup crew at these parks. Just a shame the locals don't help...
