They gave me burnt pupusas, I called to see if I can get my money back or replaced , the guy that answered the phone said I don’t know what to tell you I only charge here (in spanished) and laughed. I asked to speak to a manager he said they didn’t have one. To call the next day to see if I can catch the order there. I had to throw the pupusas away. I took a pictures to show proof how they were. I called the following day spoke to Maricela and she told me to call back later in the day that she was going to speak to the owner. Called back and said the owner told her for me to dig through the trash and take the food back in order to get a refund or a fresh new batch. There was nothing she could do. If she had a manager to take care of complaints on the spot or have employees trained to handle complaints and provide a solution. I live 20 min from there, not around the corner. I'm editing the review because of the service. James, I hope you read this. As a long time customer, I'm very disappointed at the person running the restaurant. Today Sunday 12/8/24. For the third time they got the order wrong. When I went back, the guy at the counter said " it always happens when restaurants are busy". Really? It has only happened at lajamaya. No apologies, no nothing. I just requested my money back. The first time, I ordered rice flour pupusas. I got regular pupusas. The second time, I ordered empanadas de leche, I got empanadas de frijoles. And today the same, empanadas de frijoles even though I asked to make sure they were empanadas de leche. Imagine the new customers when they receive the wrong order. I like to support local restaurants but not like this. I'd rather drive to V.N. to La Carreta or L.B. to El Chiltepe to get the correct and good food. Good...

I like and enjoy pupusas. But this time I did not get them. I got a steak combo with rice beans and lettuce. It was delicious. The red hot sauce was delicious. I really enjoy the ensalada drink. It is always delicious. It is one of my favorite drinks! 🫶💙. It is a refreshing drink. This place has some tables and seats to dine in and clean private customer restroom. There is a lot of public parking for your car. And if you have a car with a dolly & a car hooked up to your dolly or something big and long like a medium size RV you can park inside the parking lot.
