Gladstone Donut House — Restaurant in Azusa

I love this little mom-and-pop Donut House.! They have more than just donuts and coffee. Iced coffee, Smoothies, breakfast and lunch sandwiches.

I couldnt decide from breakfast or lunch so i combined them.and had a bacon, egg, ham sandwich in a perfectly toasted croissant with added tomatoes and lettuce. It was one of the best morning lunch sandwiches I've ever had. Oh shoot I'm going to add avocado next time. Like I said I really love this place I've been coming here for years. Once before this visit, I had ordered a tuna croissant and it was surprisingly good! it was huge and had nice flavor! I also make sure on a daily basis to get at least one of their Thai teas with no boba they are so delicious! so I decided to try their breakfast croissants bacon egg cheese very minimal but otherwise should be fantastic... it was horrible. Very disappointed. The croissant was very small, bacon was like idk fake bacon, cheese was like spray can cheese... not good. So I was going to give only two stars but now I guess I'll give three because they're Thai tea and their donut holes are fantastic! Breakfast yuck, lunch decent, donuts...

I am not a donut fan & realized I was not because I have not had a really good one until now. Arriving early at our hotel across the street, the manager suggested Gladstone Donuts. I had a bear claw-shaped apple fritter (huge) & I became a fan! It is the best; thinking about it now makes my stomach growl. My daughter, the ultra-healthy vegetarian fanatic really enjoyed it too. Go early since they do run out of their goodies. Oh, and the price was crazy good...for us, it was like 3 for 1 of what we see back home. Parking is right in...
