Ocean Dunes Waterpark — Attraction in Bailey's Crossroads

Pretty decent place. Definitely family oriented and well spaced out. My kids enjoyed the splash zone. However the main pool was a little too crowded and got a little rambunctious which made it hard for the lifeguards to keep much control. Overall wasn't bad at all. I would say they could use a time out for cleaning every couple hours since the pool did get overall congested and looked a little dirty. The food area was packed, hardly any space to sit because they booked so many parties you had to take you food and stand around to eat or waste it. We sat down and within 5 mins got told to leave the table due to birthday party. Then we found another spot and sat down and once again was told we couldn't sit there for another birthday event. Which is fine but maybe they should do better job managing the area or having an attendant there to avoid people getting comfortable and having to move during their meal. My other issue is there was no where else to sit and eat so we took our food near the pool grass area and was told we shouldn't eat there either. Definitely discouraging since we paid a decent amount between entry fee and food and drinks. Most of the lifeguards were pretty helpful though considering how busy it was this weekend. Idk if we would go again just maybe go earlier before it gets...

Day trip to the water park today. My kids loved the pool and slides. But we we got there the bathrooms were filthy. Also when it came time to eat, we were a little disappointed. The person who took our order was not attentive playing around with coworkers. The french fries and nuggets we got were hard. The hamburgers came out good. I asked for another order and this kid comes out and hands me dark fries. He said it's because they have been sitting under a warmer. I asked for fresh fries, he says they don't have many left to cook. As he is saying this his buddy is in the window laughing like it's a joke. Ok, so since ya'll think it's funny get me the manager. Out comes another kid. I explain she apologizes and asked if I want her to cook more fries. No thank you. We will just take a couple of dipping dots instead.

I would like to understand why it takes 6 or 7 people in the food area to cook food that sits under a warmer until ordered. Shouldn't some of them help keep the water park clean and enjoyable for patrons.

Thank goodness the life guards were top notch and did an EXCELLENT job...

I took my daughter here on a Monday. We paid $23. Great price! It was our first time there. My daughter had so much fun. The restroom is old but clean. I would say the place is clean overall. We paid $14.99 for 3 chicken tenders and medium fries. I think it is overpriced. We didn't know we can take our own food. Next time we will do that. The reason I gave three starts is because of how unprofessional the staff is. Especially the girls in the food court. They snatched tickets and ignore customers. They look like someone forced them do the work and acted like they were handling the food for free. They kept talking even after they saw me standing waiting for them to prepare the food. They literally took about 3 minutes to get up and do my order. Mind you they are delaying to warm up some chicken tenders. I would say most of them need to learn how to be professional. Anyways the whole place seems to be managed by teenagers. I think they need someone who is older more experienced in hospitality to learn from. I am still going to back since the price is affordable.
