&pizza — Restaurant in Virginia

I received a Yelp Elite Perk to receive a free pizza for visiting this new &Pizza location. This ended up being the best elite perk so far! My husband and I live nearby; so we decided to check &Pizza out. The photos on Yelp and Google maps had us unsure on whether to expect a brick and mortar location or a food truck. It is an actual building; I have a picture attached to prove it. We walked in and were immediately greeted and asked if we had ever dined at &Pizza before. We had not; so one of the gentlemen on the staff explained the preset pizza options and ability to customize any way you want. We tried a couple different pizzas (all of which are similar to the flatbread style pizza), garlic knots, cookies; and a couple sodas. The pizza was delicious. I've had flatbread style pizza before and this hit the mark....the dough was soft and chewy in the right places and toasted towards the edges. The toppings are very flavorful and fresh. The garlic knots were really good too...lathered in garlic and butter. The cookies are warm, soft and just scrumptious. They also have a great selection of fountain and bottled sodas. I love &pizza, so when I found out they were coming to Seven Corners I knew I had to check it out! Our first visit here was on a busy weekday night for their friends & family event. We decided to order in person which resulted in waiting in a long line outside BUT it was moving. The lady organizing the line was so nice and made sure to keep it socially distanced which I appreciate! The entire staff was very friendly and seemed eager and excited to be there. We did experience a mixup with our order but the manager Ken took it upon himself to redo it and went above and beyond to make sure that we left happy! We tried the maverick and Buffalo 66 and a few of their sodas (all perfect). 10/10 pizza and 11/10 customer service!! We will definitely be back to try the other items including the garlic knots! I honestly have nothing but great things to say about this establishment! From the MOMENT I walked in, I was greeted by one of the employees, Fatima, and I was taken aback by how positive and amazing her customer service was. I had not been here before and she walked me through what to do. She was super nice and helpful the entire time I was there. What a great hire! There was a small hiccup with my order, but another employee, Osman, was very attentive and took it upon himself to personally take my order and fix my pizza. It is so rare these days to experience good customer service and theirs is TOP NOTCH! I live in Maryland and honestly the drive is worth it. My pizza was also very delicious and well prepared.
