Powhatan Springs Skate Park — Attraction in Bailey's Crossroads

This skatepark was one of the most skateparks I personally like, first of all, it is clean and very smooth after the new renovation (which I really appreciate), and also this skatepark is probably the most environmentally controlled skatepark. Out of every single skatepark I ever went to, this one was the most one I found respectable. This skatepark is also very big and includes many different possible trick combos for skateboards and scooters. The only thing I was worried about was that really, really, really, deep pump track that which was about like 15 feet deep or more (I actually don’t really know how deep it actually is because I did not have the courage to look honestly). Imagine if some family comes and they have small children that somehow trip in, also there is no way out, it is just a 15 foot deep bowl that has no openings or anything else. If you are coming here with your family I just hope that you should just keep an eye on your children. The website says that Team Pain came through to resurface this park at some point in the last few years. But it's like fixing a pothole - it gets worse and worse until you totally repave it all. Surface suffers from shoddy cosmetic surgery with lumpiness and mismatched surfaces the rule rather than the exception. Only the hips and ground level Crete is intact, with every tranny looking like Frankenstein. It's better than some parks in the area so I didn't give it three, but there's no way this is a five.
