Planz Park — Attraction in Bakersfield

It's not that I loved this park. I have no feelings about it one way or another. I just had a marvelous time catching up with an old friend over a pizza while sitting in this park. However, if you enjoy watching adolescents and young dudes ride scooters and skateboards, this is the spot. Not really my jam these days but I would've dug it 30 years ago without a doubt. It did spark interesting banter about whether people who ride Razor Scooters could be considered cool. Do the handlebars negate the cool factor? But, oh no, does that make me uncool*?! I mean I ride transportation with two wheels with handlebars and thought it kinda made me a little awesome 😕 Oh no! My poor ego began to quiver, "oh no maybe I'm not cool at all", until I remembered that I won't fall down if I run into a pebble... Lol.

Love the on site manager she's always very patient with all the tenants. I have never had any problems or issues with repairs or Maintenance repair . The few times in a called in to have something of concern looked at or repaired they have always come the same day or the following day and have always fixed it on the 1st visit. We're almost here everyday because my son and daughter love the skate park but the only problem is all the teenagers and adults like hogging the ramps and ive even had a few of the skaters telling my kids to move or to get off the ramps... But there also have been this group of kids who have been drinking and skating there and breaking there glass beer bottles around the skating area.... Other then that i guess the park...
