Luis Burgers — Restaurant in Bakersfield

Today I went through Luis Burgers drive thru and ordered a breakfast meat lovers burrito and I specifically asked for no cheese. Once I got to the window I asked the cashier if they made sure there isn't any cheese in the burrito because I am lactose intolerant and she said yes. On my way to work I bite into the burrito to find so much cheese. I couldn't go back because that would have made me late to work. So I called the restaurant and explained to the woman on the phone that they put cheese in my burrito when I asked for none. She told me to go back but I explained that I was on my way to work and wouldn't be able to. She apologized and said it would be taken care of when I went back to the restaurant later today when I got off of work. So after working my +10 hour day I go into this restaurant and was told I couldn't receive my refund because I didn't have the item. I told him why would I keep it, its covered in cheese and I am lactose intolerant. He said that they have a policy that if the food in question isn't returned that it cannot be refunded. By then I was really mad. He offered to replace the breakfast burrito. But I had already had dinner at work and just wanted to get my money back for their mistake. This guy even said that his employee confessed to putting cheese in the burrito, but still would not budge to give me my refund. Really horrible customer service, and that came from the owner himself who makes the rules and policies. I come to go to Luis Burgers all the time, but I will never come back to this restaurant....

The wait time was terrible. There was only one car in front of me and that was a 15 minute wait. When I got to the window, it took a other 25 minutes to get my order which was only a bean and cheese burrito and a drink. I had to call them from my car to remind them I was waiting at the window and also inform them that 3 cars in back of me where flashing lights and angrily leaving the lines. While I understand busy days, the lack of communication is unacceptable. The cashier was nice and she could have been the girl that answered the phone but there was no apology made. The older man with the headset came out to finally give me my order and seemed annoyed. You made me wait 40 mins for a burrito and no apology? I would have left but they had immediately taken my payment when I reached the window, so I had to wait. In the future, I would consider limiting your drive thru service if you cannot tend to both the drive thru and dine in patrons. The burrito was...

Made a trip to Bakersfield and looked up burgers this place looked good so I gave it a shot. I tried their $5.50 deal which was a Cheeseburger fries and a drink. The menu is fantastic and covers everything from breakfast to mexican favorites like burritos so if you don't want a burger you have plenty of options. The burger arrived at my table and looked great smelled awesome and when I took my first bite I knew this was the spot to stop when in town.

The fries were perfect crispy on the outside and soft inside plus the seasoning they add to the fries was perfect it wasn't your typical salted fries these were better. If you decide to stay inside to eat then you have access to all the soda you want from the machine and they had Mountain Dew my favorite. I saw a family deal which contained 4 burgers fries and drinks for around $24 which is not bad considering sometimes you can spend $10 or more on one combo meal in...
