⛲This new pirate themed aquatic addition to the neighborhood is wonderful to say the least for all the children during summer. Admission: FREE The park is free and open to the public from 9 a.m. until sundown around 8 p.m., also depending on person in charge of opening the park gate on the weekends. . Parking is very limited, but cars that can't park in the concrete parking lot do park on the grass area to the left facing the front of the splash pad area.
☀️There are cabanas with shade and tables available but usually taken pretty quick with or without reservation. There are two gates that are open for entry and exiting that remains open during operation hours.
⚠️THIS IS A PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK WATER PARK/SPLASH PAD.⚠️ Parents are strongly advised to observe children at all times due to the high risk of injury due to other children running, slipping, and most importantly the slide areas where children sliding down the slides at any given time it's in use can and has caused a collision between children standing on, over or around the slides exits.
My opinion: It would be awesome if they had a volunteer work during business hours to keep the children from running across the splash pad or lingering around the slide exit areas.
Another great idea is to have a special time for parents with babies/toddlers or disabled children to play without the rush and busy flow of other children making their physical safety a concern.
IT'S GREAT, AND WE HAD SO MUCH FUN WHEN WE WENT. THANK YOU BALCH SPRINGS...
Read moreThis was my first visit back since 2023, and I was really disappointed to see how run down the splash pad area has gotten — especially since it’s one of the best free splash pads around. There was trash everywhere, including on the floors by the picnic tables, which were covered in debris and grime. Even worse, there’s algae growing on the walls and the concrete where the splash pad connects to the rest of the area. I saw several kids slip and fall on the slick concrete because of the algae. It’s sad to see such a great spot neglected like this. I really hope the city will clean it up and maintain it better to keep it safe and enjoyable...
Read moreNEW GO TO SPLASH PAD!!!!! This place is amazing!!! Brought two 3 year year olds and a 5 year old Wednesday at 6 pm and there's probably 30 kids playing. The park has 5 slides. 2 of which are for older kids( by older I mean 5 to 12). There's a barrel in the middle that dumps water every 3 or 4 minutes. There are plenty of things for all the kiddos to be occupied and not throw fits about. 6 covered tables and fenced in, so theres a bit of added security, a decent size parking lot and 2 porta johns. It is play at your own risk so i would try and keep an eye on little ones sliding so no...
