They use MMA on your nails and over time your nails wear down and look brittle I’ve been getting my nails done there for almost a whole year and every time I went they would remove acrylic from my nails with another fake nail tip by snatching and yanking it off and whenever I asked for a soak off they would try to insist I just let them clip it off until today when I finally took the time to soak my nails off at home and it came off in a gooey substance and it’s taken hours just to remove all the MMA from one of my hands and my nails are very thin and brittle not to mention when I did get some off it would dry back up very quickly ladies please do your research I probably could of had worse damage done to me if I hadn’t took the time today to soak off my nails I wish I could of knew sooner so this is a message to all people going to this nail salon...

New name is MX Nails. Hands Down is closed due to renovations. When I arrived there were two others before me , not enough nail techs. I'm not sure how long the two women were there but they got up and left so my wait time was shorter. The.tech was also doing pedis as well was finally free after waiting 20 mins when it was my turn, let me go eat first. She came back out in 7 mins and proceeded with my mani. She was nice and got finished with my mani at a descent time. I like how they have wine for customers as well. When my mani was done and I asked how much it was it was like she made up a number as she was talking to another nail tech next to her. The nail prices are not listed on the price list so I guess it varies from booth to booth. Overall it's a great spot but needs more techs...

New name MX Nails

So , I have been here plenty of times I leave nice tips , I’ve always been respectful to any establishment. Today at 6:13pm I walked in to see if I could get my 2 year old daughter nails and my nails done. The guy Tom doesn’t say hello he turns around and say what you need ? I said okay hello, and proceeded to announce what I need. His delivery telling me no they busy was very unprofessional. Like I said I Been here plenty of times and the energy today was disgusting as hell. It was no one waiting but but Tom telling me there busy.
