This was a dissapointing trip. I was hopeful that a new fast food establishment would perform at peek efficiency and have a tasty product. This is the 1st time I've ever eaten at a Checkers and it will be the last. FYI, there was literally nobody in the drive thru and only 1 small family at the walk-up window; so, the staff wasn't slammed. I asked for 2 bacon cheeseburgers (1 with no pickles and neither with onions). The discription read that the sandwich should come with 2 pieces of cheese. Mine came with 2 half pieces. The bacon was literally pushed to 1 side of the sandwich and it was very messy. The sandwich itself was extremely salty and it was simply not good. I also picked up 2 stackers. The attendant said no items could be added to the staker - it comes as is. I was off put by the tiny container that costs $3, especially since it was only filled to the cup line - literally no reason for a dome top. On top of that, I ended up throwing away more than 1/2 of mine because the taste was awful. A few spoons made me feel bloated and nauseous. I went out for comfort food after a long day but found myself uncomforted. I spent just under 12 bux for 4 items and it was not worth a dime. I'll just take the drive to 5Guys next time. Read moreThis place obviously doesn't care about it's appearance. Trash blowing around the outside, to include just under the delivery window. The staff is a bit rude, not very welcoming. I sat in line long enough that I felt compelled to say "hello." You know, just checking to see if the speaker system was working. A voice barked back over the speaker, "give me a second, I'll be with you." Not much changed when I arrived at the service window. Obvious mis-directed anger coupled with a lack of customer service. The burger was "OK", however my loaded fries were horrible. Just a tray of greasy, soggy, over seasoned potatoes. I didn't take them back fearing how much worse my experience would be.
Yeah, I won't be going back. I tend to let my wallet do my protesting, as I refuse to pay for horrible service. My advice to the establishment, if you are reading this, have someone come in to train your staff on customer care/service. Further, if they aren't enjoying the job, allow them to find something they might enjoy better. Listen, I know dealing with people in any form of retail/service/hospitality isn't easy. Read moreI went to this location on yesterday for the first time. I was taking my son to work and he wanted a burger. I regret doing this because not long after using my credit card for my purchase someone attempted to use my credit card to order food from TGI Friday’s. Of course I canceled my card but didn’t call the store because I lost the receipt. I just got another alert today saying that someone attempted to order a Lyft ride but that declined too because they’re attempting to use an old card number. Mind you, I never lost my card which means the young lady who made the transaction must’ve snapped a picture behind the window. I’ve been calling the store with no answer so I’ll try to reach their corporate office after making this review. Thank God the purchases are declining because I’m 7 month’s pregnant and live an hour and a half away in Charles County. If I lived close and wasn’t supposed to be on bed rest I would’ve been there bright and early, the moment they opened.
