Fantastic Dining Experience!
I recently visited Frankford ave mount restaurant and had an absolutely delightful meal. We ordered the butter chicken with rice and two orders of naan, and I must say, it was beyond satisfying. The portion size was incredibly generous; it easily fed three of us without breaking the bank, which was a pleasant surprise. (This place was far best) The butter chicken was definitely one of the best I've had in a long time. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, and the chicken was tender and juicy. It's clear that the chef knows their way around spices!
The naan bread deserves a special mention too. It was incredibly soft and freshly made, which complemented the creamy butter chicken perfectly.
Moreover, the service was impeccable. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.
Overall, I highly recommend this Mount Everest(the best one) for anyone looking to enjoy authentic and delicious Indian cuisine in a welcoming environment. I will definitely be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt was ok. It's not really much of a typical restaurant as it is it's like a convenience store that happens to have a kitchen. You'll come in and it's a couple shelves of chips, snacks and sodas, and a counter where you order food from. When I went, there was quite a wait. Kinda just wanted something quick to order but it ended up taking like 20-30mins but we ordered a couple things as a group. One was a special item which was a pizza with tandoori chicken on it I think. We also ordered some samosas and wings. I ordered Momos, and when I got it it was actually just a container of sauce with no Momos, which I had to call in and get corrected, then come back and wait some more for them. They also gave me a free drink for the trouble. Despite that, the food was pretty good. It's just not a typical food experience for me. The prices were also pretty fair. I'm not sure I'd come back. The food was good, but the atmosphere isn't for me. If you can put that aside,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy experience here is mixed. Over the years the service has been great but most recently, this is not the case. I ordered saag paneer (one of my favorite dishes). I was very disappointed to find out that; instead of "cheese simmered in creamed spinach and spices"....the cheese was substituted with tofu (blocks of tofu which do not melt). I don't think that is good business at all. I'm not sure if such practice is common in the Nepal culture, but in the American culture its unacceptable. An issue doing business with this restaurant is that there is definitely a communication problem. The woman who took my order did not speak or understand English well enough. I'm old fashioned. I believe if any vendor does business with English speaking customers; that business MUST put forth the effort to learn the language; at the very least use someone who speaks and understands English well. It would be no different if I was to conduct business in Nepal. ...
