First time trying Inspire Nail Bar, HORRIBLE Customer Service. I called ahead of time and made an appointment to get my nails and feet done by Dao based on the reviews. When I arrived, early, a random nail tech asked me what i needed and i started that i had an appointment with Dao. The tech told me to pick my color and then started doing my toes, and EXTREMELY poorly at that. The nail tech didn't even bother to tell me that they weren't Dao. Being that that was my 1st time I didn't know who was who, so I felt like they tried to trick me and the vibe I got was like it was an inside joke or something. Then, when I asked the lady to stop doing my toes because she was doing such a TERRIBLE pedicure with low energy and low charisma. For example, no cuticle oil was used on my toes, using used products which the website says they use disposable products and they caught an attitude when I asked for a new file and buffer and I stated, "I don't want to get fungus," and the told me, "that's not how you get fungus." The "massage" consisted of lightly rubbing lotion and scrub on my calves with little to no effort while staring off and not paying attention and no product was applied to my feet (isn't that the point... too rub the feet??). Then the tech starts painting my toes and there's lumps under the paint from like dust or something, so I made her aware and she says with an attitude, "Im not done yet," so at that point I told her she doesn't need to do my toes and to stop. That's when Dao finally came to the rescue. Dao then explained that she doesn't do pedicures. Now, it was time for my nails. She did my nails which is the reason for the 2 stars (the pedicure gets ZERO stars) because at least Dao's bare minimum effort was decent as she did not live up to the reviews at all. One week later, my nails are lifting, there's air pockets around the cuticle, where the acrylic meets the cuticle it is very thick and not blended. That said, I won't be coming back. By the way, when I told Dao that I didn't like my pedicure she simply said, "okay," and did nothing to accommodate me. I paid in full and gave a tip, but only because that's my principle so I tip regardless, but WILL...
Read moreWhen I first walked in I was immediately greeted. I was early but I was taken back right at the time of my scheduled appointment. The young lady servicing me seemed very “new” so I asked if she’s done pedicures before and I was told “oh yes she has….she’s just new to this shop”. I shrugged it off and decided to give her a chance because we’ve all been new at a job before right? I was asked what kind of pedicure I wanted and I said the basic one. I knew that I needed my heels scrubbed so I asked it that service came with the basic. I was told no but it did come with the next tier pedicure. I agreed to that one and kept it moving. Too much cold water was added to the basin so I asked for more hot water to be added. I guess the pedicure bowls don’t drain because she had to scoop water out with a bowl (someone later handed her a pitcher) and put the water my feet had already been in in another empty bowl (keep that in mind). Pedicure is going well until my cuticle gets cut BIG time and I’m bleeding…A LOT. They put a powder on it and someone else took over for the young lady. Another customer came in and they sat her at the basin where my old foot water was dumped. They proceeded to run water in the basin and ask the customer to put her feet in. I asked if the water had been drained first & immediately reminded them that water CANNOT be used on anyone. They began to scurry about, apologized, and moved the other customer. I was supposed to get an eyebrow wax but at that point it was a HARD PASS. So I get to the register and they tell me they won’t “charge me” for the scrub as a courtesy. COURTESY!?! I specifically asked if it was included and was told yes. That didn’t matter they still proceeded to charge me full price. So I paid full price AND now I have to nurse my toe to make sure I don’t get an infection. IF you go here and don’t have a person you see regularly, PLEASE watch...
Read moreI gave this place 3 times to get it right and they failed! It was also my first time trying gel X nails. The first time I had it done was not so bad. I tried to go back and get the same girl but she was booked up and busy, so I went to another lady who was horrible! She rushed, did not take her time at all, and did them so sloppily. I had to keep telling her to wipe some of the gel polish that was coming out around the nails! I told her that I wanted a design but she kept saying she had more appointments waiting and she did not have time for it design so I settled for just plain polish. After that ordeal, I said I was not going to go back but decided I'd tried again and asked for someone different that knew how to do gel X nails. I wanted the lady who did them the first time but she was busy and did not have time again, and I would have made an appointment but I didn't get her name so I could not explain who she was. This last time I had a guy who did them, again he did not seem too experienced and I kept asking if he he'd done gel X often but he acted as if he couldn't understand what I was saying! Needless to say, it did not turn out well! Some of the nails he applied were too small (not covering my entire nails) and I showed him the color and design I wanted, he said they didn't have the color and he wasn't sure he could do the design! Each time I paid a different price but never under $80!!!I left for the third time unhappy and I will not be...
