Check this out: My very first Hibachi Express experience! I did this visit as my standard sushi test for freshness, quality, value & depth of savoriness (umami). For less than $20, Hibachi Express gets my 10/10 rating for their sushi, a rating which I RARELY dole out, even to more expensive establishments! Fantastic presentation for a combo to-go / sit-down place (limited table seating + 2 x 4-top booths). Very highly safe food handling. Everything FRESHLY prepared, so one does not mind waiting for an order. Was going to eat BOTH Volcano Rolls this visit; however, decided to take the 2nd one back home nearby to my husband, another sushi aficionado. Really like having the unlimited beverage fountain here! Super clean restrooms available at the back. Do not forget to ask for a loyalty card which affords a $5 discount for every 100 points earned. Cindy is absolutely cute & wonderful for customer service! And ask her to tell you the story of the day an SUV crashed into the front of the restaurant ONLY A FEW DAYS AFTER they opened for business! I got door dash. It was sooo yummy. I got the beef and shrimp with noodles rice and veggies. It's worth the upcharge, at least to me. Quite large portion. Also, I got some cooked rolls. I enjoyed it all. Enough to order the same exact thing a second time. It was more than enough for 2. Probably 3 easy! * A trick I figured out for myself. Up to you, of course! I did get the dash pass for 9.99. It saved me more than the price I would have paid. I canceled afterwards but still got the perks for a month, which saved me even more in the long run.* The 3 bucks off was a discount from them, from their point system. I have literally been to this place about 20-30 times since it's recent opening, it is so good. The food is fresh cooked when you order. It is so much better than all the other similar places in the area, not to mention way healthier, but still better tasting. You will not get a seeping box full of cheap greasy food here. They use actual good and fresh ingredients, you can literally just taste it in the food, you will know right away. It is good meat cooked perfectly, veggies cooked so well that even I (who doesn't like vegetables) enjoy. The people who work there are also extremely nice.
