Planet Fitness — Attraction in Baltimore

If I could give them a lower star I would. There is always something wrong going on at this location. They have more stipulations and rules compared to other location. One time, I tried to bring a foam roller to massage my muscles and they stopped me at the door. They told me I could not bring outside equipment. I was so confused because I didn’t have anything in my hand but a roller and a bottle of water. Once I realize they were referring to the foam roller, I got so annoyed because it’s always some type of rule. I hate this location with a passion. I stop going to this location a year ago.

Another, incident I had with them is when I wanted to freeze my account temporarily. I forget I made this location my home gym. I called them up and ask can I freeze my account temporarily. They told me that I will have to bring in a doctors excuse or military excuse for me to freeze my account. Once again I was super annoyed because I knew at other PF locations that was not the same regulations. So I called another location and made them my home gym. That new location was able to freeze my account with no problems. Again this...

I am a new black card member. I am a daily user of the mondawmin location, however the manager Ms.A can be annoying and unpleasant and really makes me feel uncomfortable. I sometimes purchase the plant fitness water only, pressing confirm after each transaction. Planet fitness staff including Ms.A always ask if I would like to add the item to my card on file, I always reply yes cause it’s easier in order for the i transaction to process you must press confirm it which I complete in order to receive my water. Today MS.A imply that she had not been charging me for my water which I than preceded to show her emails and text alert message from my bank account which is on file explaining and Proving to her that any water I consume was always paid for I never left the front register without pressing confirm. Ms.A proceeded to continue to challenge the situation which ended in me becoming mentally exhausted and just wanting to leave the gym. I finish my session in the hydro room. So I signed up for there 10 dollar membership with a 1 dollar sign up fee.....2 months later the gym tries to charge my account 39.00 dollars. Which I didn't have at the time...needless to say they would not let me workout...I told them it's been hard because of the pandemic but I started a new job and get paid on Friday.
