Stony Run Park — Attraction in Baltimore

We love this park for it's big open play space. There's a stream, big trees, an area to make a stick fort, and a playground with plenty of room to room around. I take care of a 12 & 8 year old. This is a perfect place for them to read and run and explore. I also take care of a 2.5 year old boy. He loves the sticks, the climbing, and the bouncing equipment. Because the playground is set apart from the stream and the baseball field, it's pretty easy to keep him safe. That's a blessing because he can be fast! In addition to all of this, we enjoy getting a treat from the Royal Farms just across the street. It's​nice to have a french fry picnic or an ice...

Love this park dog and kid friendly. Nice playground with enough to keep my 2 and 6 year old entertained for a few hrs while dad and I took turns walking our dog, alongside the stream that buds up against the trail. They also have a dog park on the opposite end of the playground across the little bridge. Going to check that out in the future. Good to jog or entertain the little ones...

If we don’t do something soon about the polluted state of this stream then soon all of the water will be unsafe to touch. The stream runs through Baltimore’s old sewer systems. Every time it rains water runoff carries pollution into the stream including from the chemicals in our own gardens. Much of the water is already so contaminated it has been deemed...
