This SK is the location I've visited for the past 6 years. I hesitated posting this review because the owner, Cindy, is awesome and when she was present in the shop things ran very well and most of the time one knew customer service was going to be very good to excellent as were the smoothies. She and Mike ran a tight ship. Since they are no longer in the store, it has been hit and miss with the service and the quality of smoothies is variable. Employees come and go quickly. I've had instances of an employee sticking a spoon in my drink from the blender to see if she forgot anything, of ingredients I didn't ask for being added and when telling them the drink had something else in it (like peanut butter in the Coffee Hi Protein Almond Mocha smoothie), being told that's supposed to be in there (NOT!), and most recently, last week ordering the Dark Chocolate Banana vegan smoothie in which I always sub peanut butter for the banana. The young woman said hold on, went in the back to speak to the manager then came out and told me it would be a 1.19 extra. I asked her to call the manager out. She (Doreen) did not come out but told the employee "just give it to her this time". It sounded like a party in the back. Considering the ever increasing cost of the product, intermittent smoothie quality and iffy customer service I will not be returning to that location and probably no longer patronizing the brand because I won't drive out of my way to get a smoothie. Went there, the employees were having personal private conversations in front of us and didn't acknowledge us when we first walked in, but definitely acknowledged the caucasions as they walked in and even let them order before us! But wait it gets better, so I asked to speak to the manager or the owner which I know of both by name and they said neither are there. I asked whom could I speak with that could resolve my issue right then and there and they told me I had to wait until the next day or Friday for the manager or owner to address me. SO UNPROFESSIONAL!! Do not patronize here, save your money for a more upbeat Smoothie King! They clearly do not appreciate our business which is obvious just by the way they run the store. Read moreYesterday I order the acai bowl on-line, (2nd time) once again they didn't have it, the first time I received a call to inform me they didn't have it, this time no phone call the girl told my daughter I can give you a 40oz. smoothie instead (like she's doing us a favor) I asked for a refund for the bowl, I asked for my receipt, she tells me she threw it in the trash 🤔. I asked to speak to the manager, young guy came out he did say he wasn't the manager but he was in charge, I asked for the manager info,he states he's not allowed to give out their info but he can take mines. If this is true how would management/owners know what's going on in their stores. So I asked for the smoothie I did order online, she tells me I didn't know if you wanted it so I didn't make it.
