For countless years this park has been CLEAN, very relaxing, an environment where I never hesitated to bring the kids for time in the sun and it's right intown. All the best of both worlds in the sense that the convenience of being in town for food all the way thru to saving drive time. At the same time you get the advantage of a park that is kid friendly and is manicured so there is grass that is soft to walk thru with out any bushes or other things that can be hazardous. Nice place to hang out , getting across the street is a tad difficult since the crosswalk where we come from is no longer painted and with no pedestrian lights the vehicles go racing past without any consideration of kids and push chairs trying to cross. One thing to add there were junkies dealing just off to the side of the kids play area one Sunday and one even asked us if we wanted to buy anything.
