ArtWaves — Attraction in Bar Harbor

I had the pleasure of discovering ArtWaves, an incredible community art center in Bar Harbor, ME. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed into a space filled with creativity, inspiration, and community spirit.

I had the opportunity to learn felting, mosaics, stained glass, and scrimshaw, along with exploring other fascinating sewing and dance classes. Every class was hands-on, engaging, and taught by passionate instructors. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and truly magical—a place where artists of all levels can learn, create, and connect.

I am so honored to be a part of the amazing Art Waves community as a dance and movement instructor! We had a salsa class with Caitlin C that was amazing! We are in the area for vacation and were so excited to see the many offerings from ArtWaves. The folks that run the place are very friendly and accommodating. The dance space was perfect with great acoustics/sound system, beautiful wooden floors, mirrors and a nice double barre.
