This playground is goofy. It doesn’t make sense. It looks cool until you get up close and realize it isn’t made well for young kids. There’s no way to get to the taller slides unless you scale the yellow “climbing” wall from one side to the other. The fish feature that’s supposed to be a bridge has wide enough gaps in between that a toddler could get their foot stuck. One of the tunnels is basically a short slide. The “educational” measurements they provide are wrong too lol Whoever designed this park clearly didn’t take accessibility and safety into consideration. The South Barrington Conservancy with help from volunteers like Boy Scout Troop 10 have worked very hard to make the area lovely, prune trees and remove invasive species.
