Buyer beware! Awful experience and customer service. Will never purchase anything again from Arhaus. Purchased a $7,500 sectional and ottoman for our basement that was recently finished. The day of delivery, the couch did not fit down the stairwell due to the length. The delivery guy asked. “If Arhaus came to measure.” Had no idea that was even an option. In fact, the salesperson never talked to us about ensuring it would fit down the stairs into the basement nor the 10% restocking fee. Interestingly, went in there a few weeks after purchase because I was a little unsure of the color and was told there would be “no issues returning the couch, no fee or anything like that because it was such a popular item and stock piece.” We could then order it in a different fabric and color. Left there reassured. Should have cancelled then! After rejecting the order, we were hit with a $800 restocking fee! We offered to pay the delivery fee but nope, had to either buy another couch for $700 more, which I did not like, or pay the restocking fee. Also, when my husband mentioned the conversation over the fabric, she said, “she doesn’t remember saying anything like that.” So I was basically called a liar which I am not! Her response to the measuring, “Because you knew the exact configuration and size you needed, I made the assumption that you had measured your space for getting the sectional down the stairs.” When does knowing the size of furniture for the room mean it will fit down the stairs? We needed a specific size for the space to ensure there was enough room for people to walk by. Oh and when my husband asked to speak to a manager, She said, "my manager is just going to tell him the same thing.” Never again will I purchase from a store who treats their customer so poorly! Paid 3800 for a bed, at the time of the delivery they didn’t bring everything to put it together and offered me to leave things half done and come back and reassemble and I told them I need to be able to walk in my bedroom and I can’t have my bedroom have hardware and pieces of spread all across. So they decided to take it back and than I was told someone will call me. 3 days went by no one bothers to call me or follow up. I had to call the store and yell at them to be even heard. Again no one bothered to call me or say sorry or even take ownership in their mistakes and kept saying it’s a third party that delivers. Than they send me date to reschedule which I did. They come for delivers and again same thing, they didn’t have all the parts they needed. Called the store and the same story that the delivery is through a third party. Read moreSpent 15K in the store and I had to follow up three times just to figure out when the delivery was coming. Their "white glove" delivery service walked all over my house with dirty shoes and wouldn't move the furniture once it had been put in place- they said they were too busy and had to get to other stops. Three guys spent an hour and a half trying to figure out how to put our bed together and then cracked an interior support beam and didn't say anything. It took Arhaus 3 months to get it replaced. In the end they just replaced the damaged part. I had to hound the store manager just to get a credit on the delivery fee. Their follow-up is non existent and are completely disorganized. The furniture is nice and of good quality, but service-wise they are not ready for the big leagues. Will not shop...
