Update: 2nd Visit August 9, 2025: I was told that if I was in a rush, I could pre-order online, so I placed an order on a Friday night. When I arrived, my order wasn’t even in the oven yet. The staff member apologized and said it would be about 20 minutes, but it ended up taking a full hour. Thankfully, my husband was with me so he could wait outside with our puppy. Since it was hot, I asked for a small bowl of water for the pup—she kindly provided one, even though she mentioned it wasn’t normally allowed, which I appreciated. When we finally got home, the cookies didn’t look up to the usual standard. They still tasted good, but they were noticeably smaller than the ones (see pics) I had when the store first opened. Maybe they’re short-staffed, but overall my 2nd experience was disappointing. First Visit: Came in to purchase their cookies and was pleasantly surprised that they offer a wide range of other desserts.  I ordered a half dozen for myself (not eating them all!) and the 4-pack for my mom. The cookies are made fresh.  If you're in a rush, you can easily pre-order online or call ahead, which is super convenient.  The service was great. The place was inviting. They even had games for anyone who wants to hang around.  The cookies were amazing!  To compare them to crumbles would do them an absolute injustice.  My top three were: cookies and cream, brookie and classic chocolate chip.  My daughter and I will definitely be back to explore more of their dessert selection.  I’m already planning a Girls' Night Out here soon.

Stopped by yesterday as I was in the area and saw they had gluten free options available. I got a normal cookie and got the muddy buddy one in addition to four gluten free ones. They were very yummy. The gluten free cookies were baked fresh and were kept separate from the other dough, which was nice. I personally like these cookies more than crumbl, as they are more palatable to me. The owner is kind and welcoming, and the shop is nice and clean. Will be coming back for more cookies in the future 🍪❤️

I’m a daily customer at Rosati’s Pizza, and during my usual visit, I noticed a new cookie spot nearby called Dirty Dough. Naturally, I had to check it out! As always, Rosati’s delivered with its perfectly crispy pizza and fresh toppings. Then, I went over to Dirty Dough for dessert, and wow, their cookies are amazing! Soft, warm, and packed with flavor, they’re the perfect treat to finish off the meal. It’s the ultimate combo—great pizza and even better cookies!

I had the pleasure of visiting Dirty Dough at South Barrington recently, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The cookies are incredibly delicious—soft, gooey, and packed with amazing flavors. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. I especially loved the warm, stuffed cookies that were just out of the oven. It's clear that Dirty Dough takes pride in their craft, and it shows in every bite.

A special shoutout to the owners, whose passion and dedication are evident in every aspect of the business. Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction truly sets Dirty Dough apart. I'll definitely be coming...

I work in the same plaza as this location and it is SO good. I personally prefer it over crumbl cookie because they aren't too sweet and overbearing in flavor (I say this as a person with a massive sweet tooth). The cookies are so delightful in their look and the smell is incredible! Definitely worth the price. I'm actually super excited to now know that they offer drinks, shakes and other sweet treats that I can't wait to try! I like the perks that the app also offers. Don't wait to try them, they have a special weekly menu on top of their...
