J.Jill — Attraction in Barrington Township

WINNER OF THE AWARD FOR MOST CONDESCENDING SALES ASSOCIATES... I was very surprised at the treatment at this store. When I entered, the sales lady asked if I was looking for something in particular and I told her I was just browsing....unfortunately she wouldn't leave me alone - despite all the non-verbal messages I was sending her to leave me alone in peace to shop...and she started rattling off all the deals of the day. I told her I got J Jill emails and she continued and said in a very CONDESCENDING voice how she was just trying to get me the best deals. I think she wanted me to fall on my knees and worship her or something! When I went to check out, the sales lady asked me if I was going to use a J Jill card and I told her no because my credit card pays back better.. She then told me that I should use their credit card as she used a sing song, taunting voice. These ladies need to be trained in customer service because they act like their customers are stupid children and not intelligent adults. I love J Jill products but hope they will teach their staff...

This location has the most wonderful sales staff. Always extremely friendly. Helpful and knowledgeable about their products. I love going there....
