Barstow Mall — Attraction in Barstow

Rated three stars because it always seems to be empty with only two stores actually open every time my husband and I go. For that reason, we really haven't been able to see much of it. Also, it always seems to be dimly lit, and I'm not sure if that's because the majority of stores are closed or if it's just like that 🤷‍♀️. My husband and I have gone on there multiple times to visit the Game World. The people there are always friendly and helpful. If there's something you're looking for that they don't have, they'll call their other store to see if it's there. Great prices and variety of games, collectibles, movies, and even Manga. Game World alone gets a 5/5...

I LOVE THIS DONUT SHOP. LOVE IT, BUT IT'S HARDLY EVER OPEN ANYMORE. The Barstow Mall is Empty inside. Don't be tricked if you're traveling and looking for a real mall, Barstow Mall has No stores in it. It has a welfare office and behavioral health office in it though. If you want a real mall... Go to the Tanger Outlets in Lenwwod area of Barstow. I personally think the Barstow Mall should be turned into a skating rink for the kids of Barstow. Barstow has NOTHING but drugs and boredom for kids. They need something so the kids can have fun. Otherwise they'll end up bored...

I'm not Gonna say hate... Bit I will say for it to still say on the website and show that it could like it is up and running is totally wrong. False advertisement. I believe two stores, and a Veteran information center. When you walk in its um a smell of mold and rotting material. When I say abandoned I mean. One guy was sleeping on the chair. I thought that was OK at least he is using all this empty space for him to sleep. I guess if more merchant's want to open up in there, it might bring more likely hood to the mall.
