Game World Barstow — Attraction in Barstow

Game World was such a great discovery for me and my kids! We would of never known this place existed if it wasnt for my surrounding cities being sold out of what we were looking for. We drove a distance to get there but I will definitely make it again just for the great service and selections they had on old & new!! And so much more! This place is hands down better than gamestop and I will be going there for our future needs! The lady Nellie and her husband( i think) were so lovely and helpful over the phone and in person. They were friendly and listened to my kids questions and other things and had no problem helping them which made them feel good. Worst part of this place is it’s a flip of a coin either it’s open or closed like a 50-50 lottery another thing that’s really bad about this place. The phone number is not even right every time you call them. It just goes straight to voicemail. because of this reason, I have never even entered the place Plus, the entrance is like almost clueless to find out either. It says they’re open either. It says they’re open in the rear makes no sense. Like they are closed but have a Sign we’re open I seen 4 people try coming and going like what the hell man one guy was in a wheelchair if your going to be closed fix at least your google honestly this is horrible marketing idk how this place didn’t get closed...

It is a great little game store but, some of the accessories I bought for a GameCube I just recently bought there were faulty, I also wish they had an easier way to check if they have something specific in stock I had to wait a while to see if they had a specific item, the prices are very reasonable and the staff are very nice and helpful. I have yet to trade in things but it is a great place to shop for games New and Old, I hope that the one in Fort Irwin has a great variety of games. I know smash bros Melee won't come in soon but, I can dream I guess.
