Barstow Station — Local services in Barstow

I visited here first back in 2011 on a visit to California, to check it out for possible relocation. We did relocate, to Anaheim. We went back to Barstow Station over Memorial Day weekend 2025, and although it wasn't nearly as big as I remembered it I was still kinda enchanted with it. It was bustling but not crowded. It was very warm that day as one would expect from the location. I found a geocache nearby, got a couple of photos, and went about my way. We had a bit of car trouble on the way out of town, had some great service from Auto Zone down the road, and passed through the Station getting back to the highway, so I got TWO shots at this jewel in a matter of 3 days. This place is Touristic. Very well Known by so many around the globe it looks pretty but staff rarely Caters to us the customers. staff members ignore us Orders are late or sometimes given to someone else no Utensils were given ever. You always have to go back and ask and staff members and then they will have a attitude. . I order here a few days ago my order was lost I ask the clerk and he came back and acted like I didn't ask him for anything. There was also a woman who waited for 36 mins and miss her tour bus. Something has to give could u guys be a bit Cordial...

This is a very unique place to visit. You can feel the history. Variety is the key. Subway, Pandas Express, McDonald's,A place to get the best jerky I have ever tasted and I mean ever. However, there's a hidden gem waiting for you. The best damn bakery on the planet. There has to be a family recipe book 📚 because I have never experienced anything close. I think my favorite is the chocolate 🍫 fudge. However they have candy sticks 🍡 these are the ones that made Willy Wonka...
