Frank Phillips has been a hero of mine since childhood. I grew up in Osage County and went to Woolaroc atleast once a year as a young boy, but I've never been to his home in town. What a gem! My wife and I did the Director's tour, it is worth it to see a little bit more. The foundation has done a great job of preserving the Phillips' home. Our guide was very knowledgable and passionate and made the tour a real treat. I learned a lot and will definitely be back to enjoy the place.
If you are coming from out of town I recommend making a day of it and visiting Uncle Frank's ranch & museum out west of town. It's a short and beautiful drive into the Osage hills. The museum is very well curated and show cases Mr. Phillip's personal collection of pricesless curios and artifacts. You won't be...

I just dont recall if theres a wheelchair ramp but I'll bet there is. Free parking. Nice little gift shop where I picked up some local cookbooks, or you can get a lively coffee table book of the area, nick knacks, postcards, etc. Next time I will take the Director's tour and...

I thought it would be bigger than it was. It is in the middle of town. I guess when it was originally built, it was probably one of a few homes in downtown Bartlesville. We could see a greenhouse on the property. I am not sure if it was originally there or added at...
