I went to the Palace a couple of times, with my friends and ordered the rice bowl with chicken. it was good. Then I went with my husband, who ordered the Rueben and loved it. During this same visit, I ordered the rice bowl with chicken again and it was awful. The rice and chicken were very dry and had no flavor. The salad, which previously was in the same bowl, had now been put on a small plate. The minute you touched it, it all fell off the plate. We sat at the bar so the bartender was our waitress and she was great. She did what she could to make things right. All I asked was that they put the flavoring back on the rice and chicken and make it moist. She agreed that the dish had changed. Today, 6/15/24, we tried the Palace again. The same bartender waited on us. She said the rice bowl with chicken was put back the way it was, We then saw the owner who recognized us and asked my husband if he had come back for the Rueben? I had to repeat that for my husband as he wears hearing aids. My husband said yes he did. I told the owner that my husband loved the Rueben. I then told the owner that I hoped the rice bowl with chicken had gone back to the way it was before because it had no flavor and it was so dry. Based on the bartenders comments, I ordered the same dish again. After that, the owner never spoke to us again. He walked past us several times and never attempted to ask us how our food was. The rice bowl with chicken still had no flavor but it was moist. It was obvious to us that the owner was angry with us and had no intention at all to speak to us. The place was not that busy at the time we were there. I’m sorry that the owner felt that way towards us. As an owner, you have to be open to hearing the negative comments. The service from the bartender was great. She even shared with us that she and her partner are having a boy!...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I dropped in for our first visit, and we’re so glad we did! The restaurant has a seat-yourself setup, so we chose a cozy table for two right next to the bar. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was impressive—dim lighting, candles on the tables, chic decor, and comfortable chairs created the perfect vibe.
Ashley noticed us right away and welcomed us with a smile. She shared a bit about the owners and their commitment to using fresh, homegrown ingredients in every dish, which made us even more excited to try the menu. With so many tempting options, it took us a little longer to decide, but the staff was incredibly patient. Another friendly server, Kim, took our order and made us feel right at home with her warm energy and good humor.
Now, let’s talk about the food—because it was AMAZING! • The wood-fired asparagus had the perfect snap with a hint of lemon seasoning. • The fried pickles were crispy, flavorful, and served in long slices instead of the usual rounds—such a great touch! • The triple BBQ pizza was next-level, with a perfectly charred crust and a beautifully balanced flavor.
Honestly, I wasn’t even that hungry when we arrived, but by the end of the meal, there were only two pickles and two slices of pizza left—and I was tempted to finish those too! 😅
Highly recommend this place! Fantastic food, great service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay a while. We’ll...

Palace Rooms is hands down one of my favorite spots in Bartlesville. The vibe is absolutely on point—elegant but relaxed, with a stylish, comfortable atmosphere that makes you want to stay a while. But the real magic? It’s connected to Lollipops Woodfire Pizza & Grocery, and together, these two places create a totally unique experience.
The food is fantastic—whether you’re popping in for wood-fired pizza, small plates, or just a well-crafted cocktail, everything is top quality. You can feel the care that goes into every bite and every detail of the space.
But here’s the best part: there’s a hidden speakeasy in the back called The Nineteen0eight, and it’s pure atmosphere. Dark, moody, intimate—it’s the kind of place you want to tell everyone about, but also keep to yourself. Vince and the team have created something really special back there. It’s also available to rent out for private events, which makes it perfect for birthdays, small celebrations, or just impressing your friends.
If you’re looking for great food, a cozy upscale vibe, and a secret cocktail bar in the back? Palace Rooms + Lollipops + The Nineteen0eight...
