Chick O’ Fish — Restaurant in Bartlesville

I went into this establishment for lunch after getting take out by my roommate a few days before. I enjoyed the food. But the service and the correctness of the order is a little poorly done. I ordered one strip of chicken one piece of fish and red beans and rice for a side. When my order came out it was a piece of fish and a wing with fries. I started shaking my head and the Waiter kinda looked at me and said that is what you ordered I said no but it would be nice to get the right order. Tonight my roommate went a second time to this place and it was basically another incorrect order. And at first he asked to speak to the manager and then the owner he was one in the same. The told him that our food sat in a holding area for 20 minutes and now it is all cold. My roommate asked for a refund for the mistake and at first they were not going to do anything about it issue. When he said that he would give a bad review online he gave him the order fresh and gave him his money back as well. Hopefully this place gets better for the community. But our family won't...

I've been here about 3 times since they opened and the food has been stellar. Maybe I'm just feening for some semi-cajun fried food or maybe it's that good, who knows. The flavor on the fried fish is outstanding, the shrimp is great, and the oyster po boy hit the spot. Best thing I've had off the menu so far? The crab cakes. It's made to order so prepare to wait but it's always hot and fresh. I've had a couple of quirks with the service but I'd imagine it's because of them just getting started. I had an order mix up once and had to ask a few times to get it resolved and a kitchen staff member disagreed with me. It was eventually solved and the staff member brought me the food personally but I couldn't shake the feeling he went full "waiting" on my food. I had the fried oysters and grilled shrimp with hushpuppies and red beans and rice. This is my leftovers lol. I have so much leftovers I have dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow. The portions are so huge it's crazy. The food is absolutely amazing and out of this world. I'm so.excited I can get fried oysters here and not have to go back to Florida to get them. We got in and ordered quickly and got our food in about 15 min so not bad. My husband got the 4 chicken strips and fries and those fries are amazing as well.
