About a month ago, i went into this store and asked to have âguardsâ on my wedding rings. The female clerk was happy to assist me with my request and charge me for it. They put the guards on two rings. The way the guard is constructed there is a metal band that wraps around the back of the ring. They wrapped it but there was excess metal that they had come together at the back of the ring instead of the inside of the ring. The ends were blunt, rough, and raised . This made the band where it catches on everything, it pulls my hair, and scratches whatever it comes in contact with. I returned to the store to ask them to fix this for me. I was told by the female clerk that it could not be fixed and that was the way it was I told her i could not believe the ends could be put on the inside of the ring. She said no they couldnât but the jeweler could try to smash the ends down. I feel certain all that was necessary was to unwrap the band and cut off the excess then have it come together on the inside. She also told me the ring guards were temporary and not a permanent fix. I donât know but maybe the guards dissolve over time. I certainly donât know what she meant by that. There is a difference in being able to do something and not wanting to. The latter is the case in this situation. I know they have very fine saws that would do the job. She said she was sorry and I told her âno she wasnâtâ. She also said she wanted me to be happy but obviously she didnât. I have been in this store on three occasions and purchased items. I guess I didnât spend enough money this time. I wonât darken...

Read moreHome run! I'm a very picky person and I went to McCoy's to buy an engagement ring. After not finding anything I wanted I bought online only to receive something that failed in so many ways. I went to see Dana at this point and confessed my wrong doing and frustrations and asked for help. At that point we sat down together and she took detailed notes of what i wanted and how i wanted it to look and Matt built something truly breathtaking. Buying Jewelry for most men is foreign and uncomfortable but the team at McCoy's is amazing. I highly recommend taking the extra time to create something unique. Matt will listen and design based off of that with the ability for you to critique and change before the mold is made. Again, fantastic job done by MATT!!! and the rest of the McCoy's team! Thank...
