I recently attended a Tim Hawkins show at the Julie Rogers Theatre, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.
The seating is extremely uncomfortable and narrow, making it difficult to enjoy the show in a packed theatre — especially for heavier set people. It felt cramped and uncomfortable the entire time.
The staff was poorly informed and didn’t seem to know their own theatre. When we asked a security guard where our door was located, they had to Google it because they didn’t know. That alone speaks volumes about the lack of organization.
To make matters worse, our balcony seats were closed off without any prior notice, and we had to scramble last minute to find new seats. It was disorganized and stressful, which really set the wrong tone for what should have been a fun evening.
