The Greek Gyro — Restaurant in Beaumont

What charming people! Their salads are made with SO MUCH care and attention. A rule: you can judge a restaurant by what it does NOT cook. If the salads are sloppily-made afterthoughts, a restaurant automatically goes down two stars. I can't trust a place where the simplest dish is treated like the redheaded child in a family of brunettes. As for everything else: the gyro, the sauces, it's just great. Note: They aren't terribly busy in the evenings. That's good for us who don't like crowds. That's NOT great for the restaurant. Try it for a casual dinner. VERY nice. And the owners are...

We heard they were opening up this new location in downtown Beaumount. So we rushed over. Happy the new location is close to work. Hopefully everyone goes for lunch at least so it survives. Food was so good. We got the Philly which was huge and came with fries. I got the chicken on kabob lunch special. Both were outstanding. Also got the baklava. I love baklava and this did not disappoint.It was perfect. Everything was delicious. I can't wait to come back and try...

I finally it to 'The Greek Gyro'. Of course I was compelled to order the gyro, as it's a favorite sandwich. It was absolutely stuffed with meat, veg, and sauce. The pita bread was fresh and nice sized. I ordered the meal and it came with fries. They too were cooked just as they should be. I didn't know about the other menu items , and specials.... pizza, lasagna, chic Alfredo, spaghetti, and more will definitely have me...
