Beaumont just leveled up with the arrival of Hearsay Beaumont—and it’s everything! Amy and I had the pleasure of dining on Day 2 of their soft opening, and we were absolutely blown away. From the moment we walked in, the ambience was to die for—elegant, cozy, and full of character, with a vibe that’s perfect for everything from date nights to girls’ nights out.
We decided to sample a little bit of everything, and every dish delivered. The deviled eggs were a playful and flavorful start, followed by the Gulf Coast gumbo—rich, comforting, and perfectly spiced. The Hearsay Bistro Steak was cooked to perfection and full of flavor, while the bacon-wrapped shrimp and grits were the ultimate Southern indulgence with a gourmet twist.
And let’s talk about dessert: the Hearsay bread pudding was pure heaven—warm, decadent, and the perfect sweet ending.
Our cocktails and mocktails were just as impressive. The amaretto sour and Balinesian were expertly crafted and balanced, while their mocktails were refreshing, inventive, and a great option for non-drinkers.
Special shoutout to our server Hope, who was a total gem—attentive, warm, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu.
Hearsay Beaumont is a must-visit and a much-needed gem in the Golden Triangle dining scene. We’ll...
Read moreIts disappointing that we would have a new franchise restaurant come to beaumont, spend the amount of money they obviously spent, and would execute service as poorly as they are. I sat at my table for 10 -15 minutes without anyone coming to my table. Finally a waiter stumbled upon my table. I ordered a hot tea with black tea, which apparently overwhelmed the young man. He disappeared for about another 10 minutes which gave time for a manager to happen by. I told the manager my server went missing. He went to find the server as the server came by to bring my tea. I thought it was odd that my hot tea didn't have a tea bag in the cup. Turns out the waiter heated up cold tea. The manager saw we walking out. No one asked me why. My business didn't matter coming in and didn't matter going out. This was the second time coming here. The food was luke warm and lack luster the first time we came, and I wanted to give them another chance. Obviously I went from bad to worse. I eat all over the world and literally never leave bad reviews. This was worth taking my time to advise others. Very disappointing experience. Personally, I...

I’ll be honest — I was skeptical at first. Southeast Texas is known for hit-or-miss service, and I wasn't sure what to expect. But Kassie and the entire team at Hearsay absolutely blew me away.
From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The level of service, the professionalism, and the genuine kindness shown by every staff member reminded me of the impeccable hospitality you’d expect at a five-star restaurant in New Orleans — or the famously smooth service of Chick-fil-A.
Kassie in particular was phenomenal. She turned the most skeptical guest (me) into a believer. Her attention to detail, calm presence, and clear leadership made our evening feel effortless. Everything — from the food and drinks to the flow of the event — was executed flawlessly. I’ve worked in restaurants and I still don’t know how they pulled it off with such grace.
If you’re considering Hearsay for a reception, celebration, or any special event, don’t hesitate. It will be done right. They made an incredibly meaningful evening feel easy and magical — and I can’t thank...
