My husband and I wanted fried fish tacos for lunch. We were excited to try and support a new business in town but we’re disappointed and ended up leaving. We ordered chili con queso and two plates of fried fish tacos. We were brought a basket of chips and salsa while waiting for our order. By the time the queso was served our basket of chips was all but empty. We asked for chips to be brought out 3 different times for our queso. We also had to ask for napkins. Then our plates came out and had grilled fish tacos, not fried fish tacos. The first waitress that attempted to deal with our issue brought our plates back and said that they were fried. I stated that the menu offered grilled fish tacos or fried fish tacos which are battered, these were grilled. Another waitress asked what we ordered, we explained. She went to the kitchen then came back out apologizing that they did not have fried fish for tacos today. All the while still no chips brought out for our very small $8 queso. We opted to pay for our queso and drinks and leave. In addition to our issue, another couple sitting nearby had to send one of their orders back twice while we were sitting there. Hopefully they got that order right after we left. As another review from a few days ago stated, it was also very hot in there. We will not be back.

My husband & I have been dining at Las Cazuelas faithfully for over a year now. Every single visit has been amazing! The food is truly top tier, I’ve never tried a dish I didn’t like. We are Birria connoisseurs & we have tried it everywhere ….. no one’s compares to Las Cazuelas! Their tacos are full of meat, cheesy & crunchy. The consommé isn’t watered down, and it’s very flavorful. We’ve visited both when the restaurant was empty & when it’s busy. On weekdays, weekends and everything in between. The food is always amazing, and believe me if it wasn’t to our standards- the owners would make it right. They are the sweetest family owned business & they truly care about their customers. Would recommend 10 out of 10. It’s worth the drive downtown.

How this place gets a 4.4 stars is beyond me! Cheese Enchiladas had no flavor, store bought tortillas. Rice was old and dry, no flavor and the beans were liquidy and no flavor! Beef & Chicken Fajitas were undercooked!!!!! Beef is pink and Chicken pink! Rice was old and dry, no flavor and beans were liquidy and no flavor! Store bought tortillas warmed up! Chile Con Queso was supposed to have ground beef in it and there was none! The only thing good was the Salsa! It was warm and full of flavor. The chips were stale😞 So disappointed w/this establishment. Waste of money! Will not be ordering from here again! Thanks, but No Thanks!

2/13/2024 (3-ish stars) I decided to give them another shot. It was ok. It appears they got their HVAC fixed and it was comfortable in there. We arrived at 11:00 sharp again and were seated immediately by a friendly hostess. She took our drink orders and told us our waitress would be there shortly. Moments later a shy woman brought some chips and salsa. I asked her for some queso con carne and she just smiled and nodded as she turned away. Our waitress arrived very shortly so I asked her instead. I also ordered the burrito gordo with jalapenos on the side. The atmosphere was ok, nothing to get excited about. The wait staff were friendly enough but the only one that would speak was our waitress. The queso arrived right away but wasn't very warm and the flavor was bland. Around fifteen minutes later the burrito came out and it was gigante. When I cut into it, it looked perfect with a variety of ingredients and colors. However, the flavor again was less than exciting. Nothing tasted bad but I was hoping for more bold flavors. Overall my experience wasn't bad, but I got the impression everything was frozen, bagged, or boxed and not the result of fresh ingredients. I'll probably give them another six months and try again before making a final decision. My hope is they use this feedback as constructive criticism and overhaul their products with fresh ingredients, homemade marinades and sauces, and drastically reduce the use of premade items.

8/2/2023 (1 Star) We were super excited to try out the new place, but left very disappointed. We arrived at 11:00 sharp and were seated immediately by a friendly hostess. She took our drink orders and told us our waitress would be along soon. It was HOT in there, very hot. You could tell it was air conditioned but it just wasn't keeping up at all. We waited for almost fifteen minutes before our waitress breezed by to tell us she'd be right back to take our order. We didn't even have our drinks yet, much less chips and salsa. At this point we were sweating pretty badly and decided to bail out and I'm so glad we did. We went next door and let's just say the A/C and service is great over...
