Tahoe Park — Attraction in Beaver Dam

Great park, thank you Beaver Dam. Great boat launching docks, I didn't launching a boat, l have before. I walked down and these docks and ramps, all of it is top notch! The only thing you want to look out for is goose waste, it's really only near the waters edge, still very prevalent. A fishing pier, that you can catch fish from! I witnessed a young boy catch a nice catfish. There are benches in the lakefront for overlooking this beautiful clean lake! Great work Beaver Dam, thanks again for a great day spent at your park. It's a nice park. Fairly quiet. Could use a little TLC, but there are a couple pavilions and a small playground. 4th of July fireworks and festival called "Lake Days" is normally held here. Bands, events, food, beer, and other attractions for lake days every year. Otherwise, it's fairly wide open and playing catch or something would be easy to do here. Perfect location for special needs picnic and fishing. Paved, short walk to the pier. Handicap parking spaces right at the end of the walk. Large pier with low sides at the end. I was able to sit in my wheelchair and fish. The lake and surrounding area are beautiful. We saw pelicans, ducks and a bald eagle.
