Difficult to understand sales, one booth had “50% off entire booth” sign with multiple vendors #s in the booth. When I explained to an employee the difficulty shopping in that area due to being unsure what’s on sale, she said “will I don’t know those prices you’ll have to ask the owner” - the owner said she keeps all the sales “in her head and just knows” and after asking for further understanding as to what was actually on sale she said multiple vendors put their sale items in that area. - that’s all good and fine but don’t you want your customers to know the cost (that way they can decide if they want it, and your vendors can actually sell their merchandise!) Not until the moment you check out will actually know what something will cost.
The store definitely needs a good clean and obviously to be re-merchandized. More than anything though the owner needs to appreciate her customers, she was very rude and bitter towards me, even as I’m giving her my money to pay for full price items with faded old price tags.
Found several nice things at various booths, most booths had typical pricing. Some vendors were over priced, and could tell product hadn’t been touched or dusted in...
Read morePretty disappointed in how the owner or front desk worker treated my son and proceeded to quiz me on info regarding him. How old he was, why he was helping himself to coffee, what he needs a zippo for, etc. No other rapport building questions, no friendly demeanor, no nice attitude. Just silence after asking questions rather rudely and with snarl.
It's Father's day, I'm spending the day with my son, who happens to enjoy thrifting and antiquing with me. He brings his Zippo chart so he can identify and age zippos for me. He's quite good at it and I task him to find me those pieces while I look for other things. We are a team. You don't treat my team member, my son, that way. Period.
My and my girlfriend each felt a certain way, but it wasn't until my innocent son who sees the best in everyone(fortunately and unfortunately) told us hiw she interacted with him.
Overall, prices are ebay type, final value prices. Don't bother going unless you want to spend retail and be treated salty in a building with drywall falling all over...
Read moreWas very disappointed in this “antique mall” prices were reasonable on some items I found a pair of boots and a vintage towel bag. The boots were not priced along with all the other shoes. The front desk worker had an attitude about it, and said it wasn’t her issue that they weren’t priced and that she wasn’t gonna sell them to me. Try to buy the bag and it was four dollars, and she refused to sell it to me because I Didn’t have cash on me and refused to run my card. A friend also bought an item and it was damaged and asked if the seller would be open to an offer and basically told her no wouldn’t even call the seller honestly this place we go out of business and I wouldn’t blink and I, nor would anybody...
