I have been here many times and come away with some nice captures. Today I saw another Bald Eagle and this one actually had a large stick in its beak, unusual for late October. This pond will produce some nice winter migrating ducks like Hooded Mergansers, Scaup, Common Merganser, Ring Neck Duck, Buffelhead. I have seen the Bald Eagles here with the Clacking Geese are a plenty along with the Canada Geese and mallards. Read morePaved trail over Beaverton Creek and along Johnson Creek. Nice walk for watching birds. Trail pavement is in good shape except for a few locations. No public parking near the trailheads. There is a private lot near the Millikan trailhead. We parked at Tualatin Hills Nature Park and made the dangerous crossing on Millikan Way. There were a couple of trash cans and benches along the trail. No restrooms, but there are clean well maintained restrooms at Tualatin Hills...

I would recommend looking at satellite view before you go so that you can find one of the starting points of the trail. One with a clearly marked sign is actually off of hwy 8 and the other is in a parking lot close to train tracks (not marked).
