I went to the Beaverton location a few times but service has not been great. The pizza was decent, but, customer service goes a long way these days. Especially with all of the competition in the area. I signed up for the rewards program after the first time I visited and they make it impossible to get their coupons or gifts. It says right on their website that they don't take orders by phone. When you do try to call to get help, no one answers. If you email them, they don't respond to you. But if you put up a review, they will respond and tell you how they want to help, but none of it's actually their fault, and it's your issue. They will even say to try calling them so they can help you, then don't answer the phone. They don't bother trying to call you after you give them your phone number or try returning your email. So again, horrible customer service. It doesn't matter if the pizza is good or not, what's the point if you have to get a headache trying to get a pizza?
Yes, this is the second review I've done for this company because the first review they replied to said the things I have implied above. It went something along the lines of, "We don't understand your frustration. We do 90% of our orders online and nobody else has these problems." I am paraphrasing of course but that is some horrible customer service. All they needed to do was return an email or make a 30 second phone call and they could have saved a customer and avoided a bad review. But they chose to reply to my review in a negative way. That is a badly run buisness.
I spent 30 minutes of my day trying to order a pizza and never was able to get the pizza or get a response from them...Until I put up a review! That is ridiculous! Now I've spent more time rewriting this review. So, obviously, there's absolutely nothing they could do to win back my business at this point.
This review is simply to warn other customers to avoid a headache and go somewhere else to get...
Read moreNever eaten at Rovente’s before. I’ve heard from someone I know who works across the street that this place is excellent. Walked in this evening thinking I would try a slice. Was enthusiastically greeted from the moment I stepped through the door. Unfortunately they don’t serve slices after 4pm, so I stupidly purchased a medium pepperoni with extra pineapple. I wasn’t that hungry, but I wasn’t thinking real clearly. Anyway, the pizza comes, and it met EVERY expectation. It came LOADED with pineapple like I had ordered, and it was piping hot. Thinking I wouldn’t finish more than a slice or two, I made plans to save the rest for leftovers for the next couple of days. WRONG. This pizza was so legit I ended up scarfing down the whole thing. From the crust to the sauce to the high quality mozzarella, this pizza was superbly on point. Anyway, looks like I won’t be taking any home now. I plan on being...
Read moreListed as one of the better pizzas in Beaverton, I thought it was all right. Not great, but all right. My wife took one bite and refused to take any more, deeming the garlic content of the single bite as having been too much.
I actually agreed with her on that point. The very first bite of my own piece seemed to have been nothing but a mass of garlic, as well. This was likely due to my switching the normal sauce to a white spread of whatever.
The rest of the pizza after that initial garlic first bite was fine, although it was overpriced. Having come from a pizza parlor attached to an apartment complex that charges more than $1600 monthly for a STUDIO apartment, though, the overpriced pizza probably fits right into that equation.
I won't...
