What Fun! (Our visit was on Saturday 5/31/25)
This place is a nostalgic dream for us vintage game lovers!
They’ve got an impressive collection of old-school arcade machines (Qbert, Burger Time, Donkey Kong, etc.)
I was quickly humbled playing these games. I used to be really good at some of them. It was obvious that time has come and gone. I laughed at how I couldn't get past the 2nd row in Donkey Kong! On Qbert I only got to level 2! It was hilarious but so much fun playing!
There were plenty of pinball machines. I played every one of them. They had the old school Elvira pinball machine, that was my favorite back in the day.
Just one flat entrance fee ($12)—no need for those tokens or swiping cards.
Games were in great condition and fully functional, which made for a super fun experience. One minor issue is one of the two rifles on Big Buck Hunter didn't work, but it didn't affect the fun we had playing it.
The layout made it easy to hop from one game to the next. I struggled trying to figure what game to go to next!
The major downside—and unfortunately something that hit us the moment we walked in—was the odor. It smelled pretty unpleasant, not sure if it was a sewer, plumbing or other issue. Some in our group struggled staying to play and left within 20-30 mins.
One thing we noticed is that we didn't see many hand sanitizer stations. We saw one in the far back wall, but we may have missed others.
We would definitely recommend coming for the games and value ($12)—we really hope they address the smell, we want to...
Read moreFrom the moment I stepped inside, I felt as if I was transported back to an arcade from my college days. All of my favorite retro games are here, and many newer or perhaps obscure games I'd not seen in other venues.
In addition to dozens of arcade games, there's also a great selection of pinball classics, sure to bring back memories. The room is big & includes an air hockey table, with that plastic "CLICK-CLICK" sound of the puck that's immediately recognizable and adds to the ambiance of the space. There's even a unique collection of vintage computer games tucked in the back where retro gamers can shoot bad guys or risk "death from Disentery."
For a break from the gaming, there's ample seating at the bar or several nearby tables to enjoy a cold beverage or something from the kitchen. My chili cheese dog was, well, a chili cheese dog... very tasty and it exactly hit the spot between sessions on Pac Man and Robotron. There's also a "quiet space" in the back to catch a phone call, perhaps play a board game, or check out a show on the big screen TV.
It's very evident that the owners are not only great at details, but sincere about keeping the vintage experience of gaming alive for the next generation (and for us from previous...
