Be very cautious of events at this location. We did an easter egg dying class at this location and frankly it was a horrible money grab. Reading reviews of other events at this location it seemed to me that they really had everything together to make really fun and involved events. This easter egg dying class was anything but that. I had bought 6 tickets (over $120) and our group was provided 2 eggs and a basic egg dying kit from walmart, a few sharpies, and some glue and glitter. We had to ask to get 2 additional eggs for our group to dye (so we didnt even get 1 egg per ticket). Im pretty sure they actually only had a dozen eggs to give out and they ran out less than halfway through. There was no instruction or anything like a "class" where we felt that we made something more special than we could've at home. I bought these thinking there would be tons of eggs, paint stations, googly eyes, pipe cleaners, stickers/stencils, etc to really make a bunch of fun easter eggs for the kids.
To the instructors - for $20 per person do better!! An egg dyeing experience AT AN ART STUDIO should be so much more than what the kids could do at home with a $9.95 kit...
Read moreI took a teen and pre-teen with me to a Pour Painting event. One of us loves anything art, one of us can't draw a straight line, and the other falls in the middle. We all had the BEST experience. They are so friendly, and make you feel so welcome. The instructor gave such great info, money-saving tips, and was available to help and encourage everyone. We will definitely be back often. This is a great family activity, friends night out, or perfect place to make new friends. They offer so much more to the community than just events, you can follow them on social media to...
Read moreCheck out their classes for different styles and sizes of crowds. My sister and I took a "Paint a phoenix" class with Teal, one of the local artists the group supports. My painting looked like an alien flamingo and my sister's was actually decent. Either way it was something fun and different to do for $25 per person. I'd love to drag my husband for a class there. This non profit supports local artists in North Texas by displaying and selling their work. More people should stop by if looking for something to do in...
