China Wok — Restaurant in Bedford

Update after a year: We did eventually start ordering from here again, since then our orders have been on time and the food has been great. I am changing my review to a 4 star from a 3.

Food is good, but don't expect to have any idea when your order will arrive. We've ordered from them more than twenty times and most of the time they arrive in a normal amount of time. But twice now it's taken more than 2 hours and then required us calling repeatedly to get the order. We live 3 minutes from this restaurant. When this happened the other day I called to check on the order and the guy put me on hold and it went to voicemail. I hung up then called again, this time the girl who answered put me on hold to check, but actually hung up. At this point I was very upset and embarrassed since we had guests who were very hungry. I got in the car and drove up to the store. When I got there my order was sitting up on the counter. When they gave me the receipt, I crossed out the delivery charge and the tip and wrote the new total with my initials. Then signed. It's now been almost a week and I have not been refunded the delivery/tip. They have officially lost my business and since my family has frequently ordered from them I hope they learn their lesson. I will also be in the store this weekend to get my refund. My curry also arrived one time completely rancid. Something had gone bad in it. HORRIBLE PEOPLE!! An hour and a half after we ordered food it still was not there. My husband called to check on it and was told that they had no record of the online order, despite us having a confirmation number. They told him that a manager would call him right back. Fifteen minutes later, still no call back or food. My husband headed up there to get it himself. When he arrived, our food was sitting behind the counter. He asked for the manager (who had allegedly been on the phone earlier) and was told the manager wasn't there. My husband explained that under the circumstances, he didn't feel that we should have to pay for the $15.00 order. The woman actually LAUGHED IN HIS FACE and told him that if we did not want to pay for the food, we needed to leave the food there!! She refused to give my husband the manager or owner's name. My husband made a comment about them being a horrible business on his way out the door, and she actually said "F* YOU" to him!!!! I have NEVER experienced this level of unprofessionalism and disrespect from any business in my life. I will NEVER order from there again, and I strongly advise no one else to either, as they do not give two craps about their...

Well... I started working out a few months ago trying to get in shape for next summer, and then I discovered this place 😅 and everything went down the toilet. The demonic forces started calling me whispering on my ear, "Go try the chinnese food from the little restaurant next to Krogers". Then I came in and the Lady in the front casted a spell on me, what a pleasant person love her accent ❤️❤️❤️! Makes me wanna learn more about their culture. Finally I took my food home and that was the check mate. Great Portions, great food and the orange Chicken Holy Cow we are gonna have to send detectives to investigate what kind of drug they are putting on it!!! Yuuuuuum yuuuuum (smacking lips)

I'm gonna be a returning costumer as long as they are open and I still live in the area of Bedford!!!
