Bellaire City Library — Attraction in Bellaire

I love this library. For the most part it’s a perfect experience for my kids and I. However there’s one librarian who is so terribly rude. Today was the third occasion in which he forgot his manners and was outright rude and offensive. I would suggest to go to the library and just avoid him and enjoy the experience of the books and the OTHER lovely staff. I have no idea why he’s still working there to be honest. He’s an older Asian man and he’s rude and offensive enough to have me leaving the library with an overwhelming feeling of anger when really the library is a wonderful place full of magic and typically I leave super excited about...

Staff needs some more training. I asked someone to help me use the library computer to look up a book, she told me she didn’t know how the system worked and couldn’t help me...I also brought in a book that unfortunately our dog had chewed and told the librarian I need to pay whatever fine/replacement fee for the book. He told me to come back another day whenever his manager was working, he couldn’t resolve the issue himself. Also, since it is 2024, it would be great if the library updated its system and had a pay online feature that actually worked. Or accepted credit cards at the checkout. Who is still only...

This library has always been there for me, especially when I needed to apply for work. There prices to print copies of paperwork is better than any copy place. There staff is always very helpful & do there best to answer your questions. Grate selection of books, audio cds, dvds, plus you can get a free library card, just present your ID card & you can use there computers, with a time limit of 1 hour.
