Lafayette Park — Attraction in Bellaire

I don't have kids but I drive by this park on the way to the nearby dog park and a friend and I took her littles there about a year ago. It's a nice little park with good play ground equipment. Well maintained. Parking can be a little short on weekdays during business hours because city employees share the parking lot. Dogs are not allowed. It's a popular place for birthday parties on weekends. It abuts a decent sized field that a lot of peewee soccer teams use for practice. I've seen adults using it occasionally as well. Nice little park "hidden" in the community. The facilities at the playground, the pergola and swings are well maintained. There is a small grass field for soccer at the back.
